A sole has two jobs that work against each other.

It has to stop the foot rolling sideways, and it has to let the foot bend at push-off. The conventional answer is a stiffer plate — which does both at once, and does the second one badly. FIRMOFLEX treats them as separate axes.

Directional stiffness, built into the geometry.

    Struts span the width

    Each strut acts as a beam across the sole. Lateral load is carried across the full width instead of collapsing into the foam.

  2. 2

    Gaps stay open

    The spaces between struts let the sole hinge in the direction of travel. Flexion is unrestricted at toe-off.

  3. 3

    The fan follows the joint line

    The forefoot's natural flex axis runs obliquely across the metatarsal heads. The struts fan to match it instead of cutting across it.

    Bonded, not moulded in

    Supplied as a finished part and bonded into the midsole cavity. No new tooling on the licensee side.

    One element bridging rearfoot and forefoot, so the load path doesn't break at the arch.

    Shapes the transition from landing to push-off rather than leaving it to foam compression.

    Bridge delivers force to the forefoot; the strut array keeps it stable once it arrives.

Four layers, one load path.

FIRMOFLEX and FIRMOBRIDGE are supplied as discrete parts and bonded into the midsole. Everything above and below stays the licensee's decision — foam, geometry, outsole compound, aesthetics.
